HISTORY
LOSS AND LOSS AND LOSS
Upon the passing of her parents, Farrah and Felipe were entrusted to the care of their grandparents, solidifying her new life trajectory. The once close bond between Farrah and Felipe fractured as he was off having adventures, while she was compelled to acquire skills in wifely duties. Feeling like an outcast in her family due to uncertainties surrounding her mother, Farrah struggled to form bonds with her grandparents when Felipe departed and she found herself yearning for his company.DAMSEL IN DISTRESS
At the age of eighteen, Farrah experienced a vision of the future, a revelation that prompted her grandparents to seclude her for the sake of their family's reputation amidst the ongoing conflict between magic users and humans. Confined to her room and suffering abuse for years, she immersed herself in religious studies while clandestinely honing her magical abilities. Throughout this ordeal, she clung to the hope that Felipe would come to her rescue from this newfound nightmare. However, upon his return from the sea, it became increasingly apparent that this dream might never materialize, as he grew noticeably distant.VALOR OF ISACOR
Farrah was sent to a monastery to become a nun so her grandparents no longer had to keep up with her wellbeing since she could never become a part of society. Initially believing she could find contentment as a nun, Farrah's perspective shifted upon encountering fellow secluded magic users, Cristina and Rihana. Their presence ignited a newfound hope for something greater, gradually dispelling her reliance on the notion of being rescued by her brother.FOR THE PEOPLE
After Ysabel orchestrated their escape, Farrah found herself falling deeply in love with her, marking her first intimate relationship. Ysabel's determination, strength, and profound care for their people captivated Farrah, spurring her to support Ysabel's vision wholeheartedly. However, Farrah eventually acknowledged that Ysabel's devotion was solely directed towards their cause, realizing she would never be reciprocally loved. Accepting this reality, reminiscent of her feelings towards Felipe, Farrah settled for the small gestures of affection, prioritizing the greater cause above her personal desires.NEW EYES
While she had been sheltered from the war, Farrah's privilege ended upon her escape from the monastery. Now living as a magic user, she experienced a nomadic existence, unwelcome and facing uncertainty at every juncture. She became deeply embedded in the creation of a united faction capable of challenging their oppressors. She confronted the harsh realities of injustice and violence inflicted upon her people, bearing witness to unspeakable atrocities and widespread bloodshed. Everything she did now was bigger than herself, and her feelings, and wants, and desires, no longer mattered.

MONSTER
appearance
Farrah will still closely resemble herself, but she'll be made purely of wind, and can blend into it as an intangible incorporeal shape or become the tangible ghostly figure of a woman (and everything in between). Typically naked or in a cloak that billows with the air.
POWER_LIST
DANCE | Through song and fancy footwork of her own, Farrah is capable of forcing her victims to dance until they die from exhaustion or heart attack.
WIND MANIPULATION | As essentially a personification of wind, Farrah is able to create, shape, and manipulate air. She is capable of breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
behavior
Her monster is mostly friendly but ferocious, typically forcing companionship and seeking vengeance if angered on those who insult her, disregard her orders, or approach her circle dances uninvited. If someone brings her fruits or round cakes, or ribbons and flowers for her hair, her anger can sometimes be appeased. She will likely retreat to the forest to dance and sing, or attempt to participate in frivolous festivities.

history.
Farrah Asztalos, born as the illegitimate child of their shared noble father, came into the world two years after her half-brother, Felipe, somewhere in Seris, a kingdom torn asunder by war between humans and magic users. She and her family know little about her birth mother, but she was given a cameo brooch which once belonged to her. One day, her father arrived at their estate with Farrah as an infant, and no further explanation was given or discussed thereafter.
At the age of eight, Farrah's parents perished in a fire. Following this tragedy, she and Felipe were entrusted to the care of their grandparents, who were renowned as "old money" in the kingdom. She received upbringing and education similar to that of privileged women of her era, and grew especially close to her brother.
Shortly after her sixteenth birthday, her grandparents compelled Felipe to join a trading vessel, causing him to be absent from her life for seven years. At that time, it was customary to groom her for the roles of a wife and homemaker. Farrah made her debut in society at the age of eighteen. Unfortunately, not long after, Farrah experienced a vision of the future that compelled her grandparents to conceal her. They harbored a deep-seated fear and hatred of magic users, fearing societal condemnation if a magic user were associated with the Asztalos name.
Unable to venture outside her home, Farrah spent the majority of her time confined to her room, both by choice and by force. As a distraction, she delved into the study of the Isacor religion. Secretly, she also devoted time to comprehending her newfound powers. Not only did she have visions of the future, she had visions of the past and present as well, and discovered that she also was capable of astral projection which allowed for glimpses of the outside world. While it was clear that her visions were uncontrollable, and often undecipherable, she became adept enough in her astral projection that she was able to turn her astral body corporeal.
After seven years, Felipe returned, and Farrah yearned to reconnect with him desperately. However, he consistently evaded her company and never responded to any of her letters. This further exacerbated Farrah's withdrawal into herself and Isacor, and intensified her grandparents' abuse, which included starvation, physical, and mental violence. Glimpses of Felipe provided Farrah with fleeting hope, but his brief visits always ended quickly, and he consistently avoided being alone with her. Despite this, she continued to hold onto the belief that he would rescue her, whisk her away, and they would finally have their own happily ever after. These persistent hopes likely played a crucial role in keeping her alive.
Felipe returned off and on for a number of years, and Farrah still yearned for the safety and comfort he once provided. However, she struggled to vocalize her need, masking any indications of her declining health and the abuse she endured. Desperately, she attempted to resume their previous relationship, but Felipe had changed significantly, leaving him unsure of how to interact with her. Once again, he departed, leaving her isolated and alone. Her coping mechanism never involved blaming Felipe, but rather directing blame inwardly towards herself—for her identity as a magic user, for being inadequate, and for never feeling like she was sufficient. He'd want her if she was different. The last time she saw him was two years ago.
As Farrah matured, it became evident that her grandparents were at a loss as to how to handle her. With half of her life spent confined at home and deemed ineligible for marriage, they found a solution in her deep devotion to Isacor. Consequently, they arranged for her to be secretly relocated to a monastery, where she could devote herself to becoming a nun.
At the monastery, Farrah formed close bonds with two other women, Rihana and Cristina. Like her, they hailed from privileged backgrounds and were sent away due to their magical talents. For a time, Farrah clung to the hope that her brother would eventually come to her rescue, but he never did. The women maintained contact with a formidable telepath named Ysabel, who resided beyond the city's confines. Ysabel's mission was to gather magic users from all corners of Seris with the aim of forming a united faction capable of challenging their oppressors. Under her guidance, they orchestrated their daring escape. Farrah resolved that she would no longer be the damsel in distress, waiting for her prince to rescue her.
Now stripped of the protection afforded by privilege, Farrah embarked on a nomadic existence, finding herself unwanted and unwelcome in much of the world. For the first time, she confronted the harsh realities of injustice and violence inflicted upon her people, bearing witness to unspeakable atrocities and widespread bloodshed. In this time, she fell in love with Ysabel, and they began an intimate relationship. Farrah soon came to the realization that Ysabel's sole devotion lay with their people, and that she would never receive love in return. Captivated by Ysabel's dedication, Farrah continued to devote her life to her and her cause, accepting whatever scraps of affection Ysabel would offer her while becoming her right hand in their shared mission.
